GameBoy Color Home | Reviews | MobileSys Adapter | Release Dates Released in 1998, the GameBoy color is the most advanced hand held on the market. The GameBoy Color is able to display a large pallet of colors, and has more options than the original. Options such as the IR port, which allows quick data transfer. Such as trading scores from one GameBoy to another another, or in the case of Mission Impossible, you can se the GameBoy Color as a TV remote. The GameBoy Color was basically released as a hold-me-over till the GameBoy Advance, it doesn't contain much more than the original GameBoy did, besides the IR port and full color games. The GameBoy Color has many of the GameBoy series' best games. Its well worth the $70, to learn more, please read our reviews.
